  Product Introduction:

  Dibutyltin dilaurate catalyst is referred to as DBTDL. It is a high-boiling point multi-purpose organic tin catalyst that has undergone special liquefaction treatment. It is a light yellow or colorless oily liquid and becomes white crystals at low temperature. It is soluble in most common solvents such as benzene, toluene, ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, ethanol, petroleum ether and various industrial plasticizers. It is insoluble in water and is an important component of the catalytic system in various chemical reactions. It is not only used as an efficient catalyst in the manufacture of wood paint, PU coating, metal ink, adhesive and sealant, but also can be used as a catalyst for silicone rubber, a catalyst for the cross-linking reaction of acrylate rubber and carboxyl rubber and the synthesis of polyurethane foam plastics, as well as for efficient lubricity and stability in PVC plastic products. A dosage of 0.01-2% can achieve a good catalytic effect, and the usable temperature range is 80-240℃.

Main uses: 

  ★ Drier for coating and ink industry, it has excellent drying properties for bimolecular polyurethane, polyester, nitro lacquer, coating curing agent, ink and other coatings and moisture-curing coatings. It can accelerate PU curing in polyurethane high-grade furniture paint, promote rapid drying of paint film, and obtain a smooth and hard paint film; in PU coating, it has good oxidation stability.

  ★ Stabilizer and lubricant for PVC products PVC soft transparent products or semi-soft products, when used in combination with metal soaps or epoxy compounds such as barium stearate and cadmium stearate, have good lubricity, transparency, weather resistance, compatibility with plasticizers, no frost, no sulfide pollution, and no adverse effects on heat sealing and printing properties. Such as: soft film, soft film, plastic shoes, hoses and PVC conveyor belts. In particular, it can be used as a catalyst for polyurethane foam products. In PVC hard products, this product can be used as a combination with maleic acid organotin or thiol organotin to improve the fluidity of resin materials.

       ★Used as catalyst and foaming activator in polyurethane foam plastics, PVC foam plastics, and silicone rubber synthetic materials.

       ★Used as a synthetic catalyst in various adhesives.
